Changamwe police arrest their colleague for engaging in crime Police in Changamwe are detaining one of their own suspected to be indulging in criminal activities within the area. The officer known as Maxwell Nyongesa is said to have been together with his accomplice Lameck Juma who was also wearing a police smoke jacket and a police trouser despite being a civilian. Changamwe Sub county police Commander David Matthew confirmed the incident saying it was reported at Changamwe police station that a Boda boda rider was attacked by two people one being a police officer. The Boda boda rider quickly identified Nyongesa as the two descended on the Boda boda operator. Nyongesa had been transferred to Daadab police station in Garissa county in 2020 but he has been secretly operating in Changamwe, failing to report to his new work station.
